My name is Kyle and when I was in my early 20's I was homeless and living in my car for over a year. Some people came along and gave me a place to live and helped me get on my feet. I made a promise to God that someday I was going to help other homeless people. In 2009 I began helping my good friend Duni of 24hr Revival Ministries feed the homeless people and I really wanted to help the homeless people too. My wife Alma and I started Hearts for the Homeless and God has really blessed us with people from my church, River Oaks United Methodist Church, and brought other dear and special people along to help make this ministry a blessing. Thank you for your time reading this and hope you have a blessed day <><
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:34-40
Volunteers are the heart of our ministry.
Hearts for the Homeless is a 501(c)3 that feeds the homeless in Fort Worth once a week. We exist solely by donations given each week. Whatever we receive, we turn into sack lunches to feed as many homeless as we can.
